My Mum taught me how to crochet when I was quite young. However, I never really took up the craft until very recently. I'm kicking myself now because I could have been making gorgeous amigurumi years ago.I have been crocheting again for two months now. I make the amigurumi from patterns and it takes me about 2 - 3 weeks to finish each toy.
The octopus pattern I got for free at Lion Brand and the owl pattern from Roman Sock.
My attempts don't look exactly how the patterns depict them, but I'm extremely happy with the end results.
After many months (almost over a year) of not being productive, crocheting these animals made me realise how much I miss 'making things'. Especially scrapbooking !!
